The Mount Vernon Treatment Centre was officially opened on Friday 13th July 2009. A commemorative plaque marking the event was unveiled by Anthony Valentine JP,  the Chairman of Hillingdon Hospital NHS Trust from April 2006 to July 2009.  A number of key people involved with the financing, design, construction and building of the centre, including clinicians, nurses and friends of Mount Vernon were invited to the event. It was a very happy occasion.
Part one deals with the unveiling of the plaque and part two has short interviews with people of note.

Very enlightening to be able to hear from the people who contributed to the success of this wonderful addition to the Mount Vernon Hospital site. May it go from strength to strength. What next?
