Cathy Williams has been the General Manager of the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre for over 15 years.

She has seen the centre grow from a small hospital that handled some cancer patients, to one of the largest and best cancer centres in the United Kingdom. It is now unique in that it is the ONLY NHS hospital to have the new Accuray CyberKnife, a linear accelerator mounted on a robotic arm, capable of very accurate radiation dosages from a multitude of angles, even to moving targets, like the lungs. The patient experience is also greatly improved. More of that later.

Cathy and the Cancer Centre have been closely allied with The Community Voice over all these years.

This video is an upgrade of the normal video, your camera man is getting inventive! Al fresco video with inserts. Great stuff. Cathy Williams is a star, certainly knows her job, what a huge remit. Must be nice to work with such wonderful people around you.
