Becoming a member of The Community Voice

Visitors are welcomed as guests at our monthly meetings. Visitors are not pressed to apply for membership until they have made several visits, but we are delighted if they wish to do so. We have an equal opportunities policy and seek wide representation from our local community, primarily residents of Harrow, Hillingdon and South West Hertfordshire.

Applications for membership, accompanied by the appropriate subscriptions, are accepted at our meetings by the Hon. Treasurer or, in her absence, by the Chairman or Hon. Secretary. From 1st April 2009 annual subscriptions are currently:

£18 00 for organisations (for two delegates) - click here to print application fom
£10.50 for two individual members / in one household sharing one mailing - click here to print application fom

Our funding:

In the current year we have been supported by Three Rivers District Council with an award of £250 to enable us to update our website, which we much appreciate.

In previous years we have benefited from grants from “Awards for All” and from “Paradigm Housing” but our last such grant ended in 2008. We are currently applying for grants for 2009 - 2011, particularly to assist us with costs for:
1. Reimbursing representatives who travel to meetings on our behalf
2. Reimbursing costs for members who need help to come to our meetings
3. Purchasing major items eg photocopier, microphones.
We have also benefited from donations from our members and in the current year are extremely grateful to Northwood Residents Association for its generous support.
